At Little One AI, we deeply respect your family's privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our parenting and baby tracking application. We are committed to full transparency and COPPA / DPDPA compliance.
We collect the following categories of information to provide our services:
Account Information
- Name and email address (via Google Sign-In or email registration)
- Profile photo (optional)
- Country and language preference
Baby / Child Profile Data
- Baby's name, date of birth, and gender (provided by parent)
- Growth data: height, weight, head circumference
- Feeding logs, sleep logs, diaper tracking entries
- Vaccination and milestone records
- Photos uploaded by the parent for disease detection features
Device & Usage Data
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- Crash logs and diagnostic data
- Feature usage patterns (anonymised)
- Subscription and purchase information via RevenueCat / Razorpay
- To provide baby tracking, milestone alerts, and growth chart features
- To power AI-based insights and recommendations via Google Gemini API
- To analyse baby photos for health indicators (Disease Detector feature)
- To generate personalised parenting tips and content
- To process subscription payments and manage your account
- To send important app notifications and reminders
- To improve app performance, fix bugs, and develop new features
- To comply with applicable laws and legal obligations
Little One AI uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Gemini API — Powers AI insights and baby health analysis. Data is processed per Google's AI data policies.
- Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, and push notifications
- RevenueCat — Subscription management (no payment card data stored by us)
- Razorpay — Payment processing for Indian users
- Google AdMob — Non-personalised ads on the free tier only
- Google Analytics for Firebase — Anonymised app analytics
We do not sell your data to any third party, ever.

Little One AI is designed for parents and caregivers. The app is not directed at children under 13. All child data entered into the app is provided by the parent/guardian and is processed under their account.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13
- All baby profile data is entered and controlled by the parent/guardian
- We do not serve behavioural or targeted advertising based on child data
- Parents may request deletion of all child-related data at any time
- Baby photos processed for Disease Detector are not stored permanently without consent
- We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023
- Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers
- All data transmissions use HTTPS / TLS encryption
- Firebase Security Rules restrict data access to authenticated users only
- We regularly review and update security practices
- Payment data is handled entirely by Razorpay / RevenueCat — we never store card details
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account deletion:
- Your account and baby profile data are permanently deleted within 30 days
- Anonymised, aggregated analytics data may be retained for service improvement
- Backup copies are purged within 90 days of deletion request
As a user, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correction — Update incorrect or incomplete information
- Deletion — Request permanent deletion of your account and data
- Portability — Export your baby tracking data in a readable format
- Withdraw Consent — Opt out of non-essential data processing at any time
- Complaint — Lodge a complaint with India's Data Protection Board

The Little One AI mobile app does not use browser cookies. We use Firebase Analytics with anonymised identifiers for app performance monitoring. You may opt out of analytics tracking in the app settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you via:
- An in-app notification
- An email to your registered address
- An updated "Effective Date" at the top of this page
Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
